Building Blocks Family Centre receives £433,543 of funding to support families across Neath Port Talbot

We want to thank National Lottery players’ who have supported Building Blocks with a grant of £433,543, over four years, from the Big Lottery Fund. The funding will help support disadvantaged families across Neath Port Talbot to help improve their life chances.

The service called Families Together2 will offer family led supportive services to enable families to get the best start in life. It will empower families to build vital skills such as parenting, employability, confidence, self-esteem, advocacy, plus provide childcare support including support to families with disabled children.

Ceri Pritchard, Centre Manager at Building Blocks said: “The funding from the Big Lottery Fund will help us to make a difference to families lives where it’s needed the most.  We want to support families on their journey and make sure they learn skills identified by them that can help them improve their life chances, whether that’s gaining employment, training or parenting skills. I want to say thank you to all national lottery players for this opportunity to make a difference”
